The Enzoway Equation

Result = Performance + Process – Disruption/Distraction

The right side of the equation—performance, process, and minimizing disruptions—is within our control as individuals, teams, and organizations. However, the result is always influenced by external factors beyond our control.

By focusing entirely on the right side of the equation, results will naturally improve over time.
Disruptions hinder the execution of work. That’s why we identify them first.
Next, we explore them—as they often hold the keys to success.
Finally, we decide whether to keep or eliminate them.

This is a systematic team effort where all stakeholders participate and contribute.

A process is the same as the "HOW" we carry out a series of actions/activities that lead to a "whole," completing a task. The process starts with a need and ends with that need being satisfied, such as transforming a piece of wood into a chair.

When some of the team’s key processes are identified, employees will have a clearer understanding of their tasks and their role in the bigger picture. This makes people feel secure, as they can see where they are heading.

When done systematically, performance improves over time. If the process is continuously improved and refined through systematic work of identifying and managing obstacles, performance will naturally increase. With high performance over time, results improve.

Adjust the "How"

Enzoekvation is a simple explanatory model that neutralizes discussions and helps the business move faster toward what it wants, while also quickly moving away from what it doesn't want.

It offers a functional way to manage obstacles, which in turn reduces communicative friction, stress, and negative thoughts.

When people are helped in this clear way to find solutions, engagement in the team increases, and employees feel both important and needed. It is not only the manager’s task to handle all obstacles—the whole team becomes involved.
